The 7th Open International Dance Festival “Kiev Waltz 2009”
1st-2nd-3rd of May 2009 
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

From the 1st till the 3rd of May 2009 Kiev will live in the rhythm of dance – poetic, extravagant, inflammatory and exciting imagination dance.
 
About the Festival
The 7th Open International Dance Festival “Kiev Waltz 2009” is an outstanding event in the life of the capital and all our country. Participating dance couples will compete in different age groups, styles of dancing and categories.
Very comfortable dance floor with the size of approximately 250 square meters, professional lighting and audio systems, tables with champagne and candles for spectators, spectacular show dances will give desirable effect to the event. Course of competitions will be displayed on the big TV screen during all time of the Festival.
 
Participants
Due to the high level of organization the festival really is an indicative event for Ukraine considering the representation of competitors and the list of adjudicator’s panel. The best world experts in the field of ballroom dancing with licenses of World Dance Council (International professional dance organization) are coming to the capital to evaluate the mastership of competitors.     The adjudicator’s list includes: Evgenij Vajman (Israel), Alexander Mashkov (Russia), Maksim Kondratiev (Romania), Marianna Mamyan (Armenia) and the best Ukrainian experts: Alexey Litvinov – adjudicator at TV shows “Dancing with the Stars” and “Everybody is Dancing”, Vadim Elisarov - Honored artist of Ukraine, artistic director of Sevastopol State Dance Theatre, Igor Kolchin – former Ukrainian professional champion, Valentina Fedorchuk – Honored trainer of Ukraine and others.
More than 1500 couples from at least 10 World countries such Israel, Italy, Romania, Cyprus, Russia, Armenia, Moldova and others will compete for cups and medals giving unmatched emotions to the spectators. 

Festival audience
The festival will be attended by more that 1500 spectators. The audience will consist of people who are involved in dancing, who have possibilities to practice dancing and others who simply are not indifferent to the exquisite spectacle. Thanks to the attention of mass media the number of spectators will increase even more. The event is popular among representatives of political and business elites, culture and society figures of our country.  

Social significance
Healthy way of life is pledge of success and wellbeing in contemporary world. The Festival organizers advocate healthy way of life, dancing culture, renaissance of the ancient cult of harmony between body and soul, creation of healthy communication environment for young people. Competitions are worthy way of self-affirmation, incentive of development, training of such qualities as will to victory, responsibility for collective.
The final gala show will be a worthy culmination of the whole festival. In addition to the festival finalists the finalists of TV dance shows, the stars of Ukrainian ballet and variety stars will be invited to participate in the event. The best World couples will demonstrate their show dances.

ШАНОВНІ ПАНОВЕ!
З першого по третє травня 2009 р. Київ житиме у ритмі танцю, поетичного, екстравагантного, запального та збуджуючого уяву.                                                                              

ПРО ФЕСТИВАЛЬ
Відкритий міжнародний фестиваль танцю «Київський вальс - 2009» є непересічною подією в житті столиці та всієї країни. Програма фестивалю обіцяє бути насиченою та яскравою. Пари різних вікових груп та категорій змагатимуться в майстерності. Зручний танцювальний майданчик розміром близько 250 кв. метрів, професійне світлове та звукове обладнання, глядачі за столиками, шампанське, яскраві показові виступи додадуть необхідного ефекту даному заходу. Хід змагань транслюватиметься на великому екрані протягом усього конкурсу.                                                                            

УЧАСНИКИ 
Завдяки високому рівню організації - фестиваль  є дійсно показовою подією для України з огляду на представництво учасників та склад високоповажного журі. Кращі спеціалісти світу з бальних спортивних танців, ліцензовані міжнародною професійною танцювальною організацією WDC приїжджають до столиці аби оцінити майстерність конкурсантів. Серед них: Євгеній Вайман (Ізраїль), Олександр Машков (Росія), Максим Кондрат’єв (Румунія), Маріанна Мамян (Вірменія) та кращі спеціалісти України: Олексій Літвінов – суддя телепроектів «Танці з зірками» та «Танцюють всі», Вадим Єлізаров – народний артист України, художній керівник Севастопольського державного театру танцю, Ігор Колчін – багатократний чемпіон України серед професіоналів, Валентина Федорчук – заслужений тренер України та інші.
Близько 1500 учасників, не менше ніж з 10 країн світу, серед яких Ізраїль, Італія, Румунія, Кіпр, Росія, Вірменія, Молдова та багато інших, змагатимуться за кубки та медалі, даруючи неперевершені емоції глядачам.

АУДИТОРІЯ ФЕСТИВАЛЮ
Фестиваль  відвідають більше 1500 глядачів. Глядацька аудиторія   – люди, причетні до танців; ті, хто мають можливість займатися ними  і ті, хто просто не байдужий до витонченого видовища. Завдяки увазі засобів масової інформації аудиторія фестивалю розширюється ще більше.
Подія  користується популярністю у представників політичної і бізнес – еліти, культурних і суспільних діячів країни. 

СОЦІАЛЬНА ЗНАЧИМІСТЬ
